Hello I'm Helen Maxwell an experienced Nutritionist. I see clients both in-person and online.  I am trained in the Functional Medicine approach which is bespoke and personalised to your unique physiology and circumstances. 

Nutritional therapy strives to identify the root cause of health issues and to support the body with the right nourishment for healing and repair. It takes into consideration the way the whole body functions  It's scientific and evidence based but it's also an art becasue we are all so unique. 

My practice has a significant focus on digestive function which includes gut function, the all important microbiome as well as issues such as  bloating, gas and acid reflux.  I also specialise in the cardio-metabolic area. This includes lowering diabetic risk and improving heart health as well as losing weight and resolving fatigue.

I agree with the famous quote "all disease starts in the gut" and modern science is now demonstrating these links. I have a special interest in resolving acid reflux, cholesterol problems and the risk of diabetes
